Great customer service. I called and left a message. I wanted an honest opinion on two different brands. Todd called me back and spent time giving me his opinion on both. I had seen you tube videos of Todd work with Triumphs before and finally got to talk to the legend! Replacing a failing Boyer box with this Wassel unit was a piece of cake. The timing mark on the rotor and stator plate were perfect and didn't need adjustment at all. My old Sparx electronic ignition died, again..
So I tried out this Wassell Vape system. The Sparx was just a plastic circuit board that would vibrate to pieces.. The pick up plate on this one is a machined piece of solid aluminum that is sealed. Went on super easy and the control unit is much smaller than the Sparx, I was able to zip tie it to my frame under the seat. I like that it works with 6v or 12v, positive or Neg ground, and several different coils..
